St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies confront the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. St. Anthony Village will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN).

The Spartans now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Class A Section 3 challenge on Thursday, October 5. Richfield will confront a Teddies team coming off a 4-1 league win over Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN). The Teddies record now stands at 11-2.
