The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) and the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), saw Grants's volleyball squad nip Aztec by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Grants upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM) to play the Lynx in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Miyamura for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10.
