The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) and the visiting Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), saw California's volleyball squad beat Granada by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, California upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Grizzlies host Monte Vista (Danville, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Thursday, October 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Monte Vista won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Carondelet (Concord, CA)

The Matadors now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Dublin for a bout on Thursday, October 5.
