Virginia High School Volleyball - Nansemond-Suffolk Academy tips Peninsula Catholic

October 3, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) and the visiting Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), saw Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's volleyball squad nip Peninsula Catholic by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Saints travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to play the Ambassadors in a bout on Thursday, October 5. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Norfolk Christian won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA)

The Knights now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Norfolk Academy for a bout on Friday, October 6. Peninsula Catholic will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
