The Volcano Vista Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Santa Fe Demons to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Volcano Vista will meet a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 2-8.
The Demons (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs enter the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Albuquerque was topped by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
