In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mankato East Cougars soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Austin Packers.
The Packers (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Century (Rochester, MN). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Century New Prague (New Prague, MN), 1-1, in a league battle.
