Chino Valley Cougars (Chino Valley, AZ) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting North Valley Christian Academy Lions (Phoenix, AZ), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Chino Valley will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ).
The Lions now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Patagonia for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 4. North Valley Christian Academy will confront a Lobos team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Pima (Pima, AZ). The Lobos record now stands at 3-6.
