Next, the Cougars confront the Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 1-1 league Ross (Hamilton, OH).

The Brave now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a Southwest Ohio challenge on Thursday, October 5. Talawanda will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-0.
