Maine High School Soccer - Scarborough knocks off Thornton Academy

Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Red Storm face the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a Class A - South challenge, on Friday, October 6. Scarborough will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Stags enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 7-1 league win over Noble (Berwick, ME).
The Trojans now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Windham for a Class A - South challenge on Thursday, October 5. Thornton Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 league win over Deering (Portland, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 8-0.
