Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Poudre Impalas (Fort Collins, CO), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-16 record. They take the field next when they host Loveland for a 5A/4A Front Range challenge on Thursday, October 5. Brighton will face a Red Wolves squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Erie (Erie, CO). The Red Wolves record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Poudre falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Impalas travel to Mountain Range (Westminster, CO) to face the Mustangs in a 5A/4A Front Range challenge on Wednesday, October 4. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 11-11. Mountain Range lost 11-2 in their recent league challenge against Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO)
