Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Redskins now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they host Screven County for a 1A D-I Region 3 challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Bryan County will battle a Gamecocks squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Gamecocks record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, McIntosh County Academy falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Jenkins County (Millen, GA) to battle the War Eagles in a 1A D-II Region 3 challenge on Wednesday, October 4. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 15-5. Jenkins County won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
