In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Ames Little Cyclones volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mason City Mohawks.
The Little Cyclones (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, North Iowa achieved victory over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Mohawks encounter the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Mason City will attempt to advance on its 6-21 season record.
