The Caledonia Warriors held off the host Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatfield for a Three Rivers test on Thursday, October 5. Caledonia will confront a Gophers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Gophers record now stands at 15-2.
The Cougars (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers enter the Hiawatha Valley test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Stewartville was nudged by Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
