Arizona High School Volleyball - Chaparral routed by Sunrise Mountain

The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Chaparral Firebirds to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ironwood for a 5A - Northwest game on Wednesday, October 4. Sunrise Mountain will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 12-7.

The Firebirds (14-12) will now prepare for their outing against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies go into the 5A - Northeast Valley outing with a 19-8 record.
