With the win, South Winneshiek upgrades its record to 15-11 on the year. The Warriors host Central (Elkader, IA) to play the Warriors in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-17. Central lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA)

The Eagles now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Kee for a Upper Iowa bout on Thursday, October 5. Clayton-Ridge will play a Kee Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA). The Kee Hawks record now stands at 2-10.
