The Des Moines Christian Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Madrid Tigers to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now possess a 26-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MOC-Floyd Valley for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7.
The Tigers (4-20) will now prepare for their game against Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Hawks enter the West Central game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Woodward-Granger was dropped by Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
