The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) and the host Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL), saw Fieldcrest's volleyball squad beat Dwight by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Fieldcrest upgrades its record to 22-4 on the year. The Knights host Tremont (Tremont, IL) to play the Turks in a Heart of Illinois bout on Thursday, October 5. The Turks go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Tremont won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Fisher (Fisher, IL)

The Trojans now own a 7-19 record. They play next when they travel to Gardner-South Wilmington for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 4. Dwight will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Woodland (Streator, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-18.
