In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Oelwein Huskies volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the East Marshall Mustangs.
The Huskies (15-12) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors come into the non-league battle with a 15-19 record. In their last battle, Columbus lost by Union (La Porte City, IA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. East Marshall will attempt to advance on its 4-21 season record. The Cyclones come into the battle with a 27-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA).
