The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), saw Great Bridge's volleyball squad beat Nansemond River by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Great Bridge upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Hawks in a Southeastern bout on Thursday, October 5. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Hickory won 3-0 in their recent league bout against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)

The Warriors now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grassfield for a Southeastern bout on Thursday, October 5. Nansemond River will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 9-5.
