In Tuesday's league battle, the host Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Killdeer Cowboys.
The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mott-Regent (Mott, ND). The Wildfire come into the B - Region 7 battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Mott-Regent lost by Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Cowboys encounter the Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND) in a B - Region 7 battle, on Friday, October 6. Killdeer will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Miners enter the game with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Richardton-Taylor (Richardton, ND).
