The Hickory Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs to 0 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Great Bridge for a Southeastern game on Thursday, October 5. Hickory will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-3.

The Bulldogs (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins enter the Southeastern game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Western Branch dropped by Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league game.
