Louisiana High School Volleyball - John Curtis Christian routed by Newman

The Newman Greenies volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting John Curtis Christian Patriots to 0 in the Greenies league victory on Tuesday.

The Greenies now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host International for a Division IV District 7 game on Thursday, October 5. Newman will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-9.

The Patriots (18-2) will now prepare for their game against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier enter the Division IV District 7 game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, De La Salle was dropped by Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
