The Wayne Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils to 1 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.

The Falcons now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moravia for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Wayne will meet a Mohawks team coming off a 2-0 league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Mohawks record now stands at 15-6.

The Blue Devils (2-17) will now prepare for their game against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines enter the Pride of Iowa game with a 6-16 record. In their last game, Nodaway Valley was dropped by Lenox (Lenox, IA), 3-2, in a league game.
