In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Southside Sharks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the New Iberia Yellowjackets.
The Sharks (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Church Point (Church Point, LA). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 9-9 record.
Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a battle, on Thursday, October 5. New Iberia will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA).
