The St. Ansgar Saints volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Newman Catholic Knights to 0 in the Saints league victory on Tuesday.
The Saints now have a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osage for a Top of Iowa - East game on Tuesday, October 3. St. Ansgar will meet a Green Devils team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rockford (Rockford, IA). The Green Devils record now stands at 14-12.
The Knights (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-14 record. In their last game, Eagle Grove dropped by North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
