Illinois High School Volleyball - Prairie Central can't hold off Tolono Unity

October 3, 2023: Tolono, IL 61880

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Tolono Unity Rockets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Prairie Central Hawks.

The Rockets (13-14) will now prepare for their battle against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers come into the Illini Prairie battle with a 17-9 record. In their last battle, St. Thomas More nudged Urbana (Urbana, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a Illini Prairie battle, on Thursday, October 5. Prairie Central will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 10-14 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL).
