The Pendleton/Nixyaawii Community Buckaroos football squad scored 57 points and limited the host Baker Bulldogs to 40 in the Buckaroos league triumph on Thursday.

The Buckaroos now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crook County for a 4A Special District 5 test on Friday, October 18.

With the defeat, Baker drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to La Grande (La Grande, OR) to meet the Tigers in a 4A Special District 5 test on Thursday, October 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. La Grande won 34-27 in their recent league test against Ontario (Ontario, OR)
