The Fort Dale Academy Eagles football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Banks Academy Jets to 18 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe Academy for a AISA AAA Region 2 test on Friday, October 11. Fort Dale Academy will meet a Volunteers squad coming off a 20-18 non-league win over Patrician Academy (Butler, AL). The Volunteers record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Banks Academy drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Jets host Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL) to meet the Wildcats in a AISA AAA Region 1 test on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-3. Edgewood Academy won 27-21 in their recent non-league test against Crenshaw Christian Academy (Luverne, AL)
