Mary G. Montgomery Vikings (Semmes, AL) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL), 31-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Mary G. Montgomery improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings host Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to play the Pirates in a 7A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 11. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Fairhope won 30-7 in their recent league battle against Foley (Foley, AL)

The Hurricanes now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Daphne for a 7A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 11. Bryant will play a Trojans team coming off a 34-13 league win over Davidson (Mobile, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 4-3.
