The Cascade Cougars were victorious over the host Stayton Eagles football team by a score of 24-16 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) in a 4A Special District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Philomath (Philomath, OR). The Warriors enter the 4A Special District 3 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Philomath ran past Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR), 37-0, in a league challenge.
