The Creekview Mustangs got by the visiting White Longhorns football team by a score of 21-17 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Creekview will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 63-0 league loss to West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).

The Longhorns (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans go into the 5A-1 Region II District 6 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Newman Smith nipped North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 48-13, in a league challenge.
