Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 62-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Omaha Nation improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Chiefs travel to White River (White River, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 4-1. White River won 52-0 in their recent league battle against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD)

The Chieftains now have a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lower Brule for a All-Nations - Central (9 Man) battle on Thursday, October 10. Crow Creek will play a Sioux team coming off a 50-0 league win over Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 6-0.
