In Thursday's league game, the McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) football team edged the visiting Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY), by a tally of 48-46.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a 3A District 1 game, on Friday, October 18. McLean County will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
The Storm (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 1 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Trigg County was edged by Union County (Morganfield, KY), 64-22, in a league game.
