The Bishop Manogue Miners felled the host Reed Raiders football team by a score of 28-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners face the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Bishop Manogue will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 19-14 league win over Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Douglas lost by McQueen (Reno, NV), 42-20, in a league challenge.
