With the win, Howard improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Northside (Warner Robins, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Northside won 32-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA)

The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Telfair County for a D1 Area 3 West battle on Tuesday, October 15.
