In Thursday's non-league contest, the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) soccer team edged the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 1-0.
Next, the Golden Eagles battle the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Saturday, October 5. Eldorado will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Matadors enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).
