With the win, Carroll County advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Alleghany won 38-12 in their recent non-league battle against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)

The Knights now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Radford for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. James River will play a Bobcats team coming off a 20-16 non-league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
