North Carolina High School Football - West Carteret prevails Dixon

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting West Carteret Patriots football squad scored a good 42-34 triumph over the Dixon Bulldogs.

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their match against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, White Oak defeated Croatan (Newport, NC), 30-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 10. Dixon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, NC).
