Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 54-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mount Pleasant improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers host Cox Mill (Concord, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Cox Mill lost 33-15 in their recent non-league battle against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Albemarle for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. South Stanly will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 30-16 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
