In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Hope Christian Huskies.
The Demons (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, La Cueva got by Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 6-3, in a league outing.
Next up, the Huskies play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 11. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
