In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Basalt Longhorns volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Moffat County Bulldogs.

The Longhorns (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vail Mountain (Vail, CO). The Gore Rangers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Moffat County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Grand Valley (Parachute, CO).
