In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Gulf Shores Dolphins volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Buckhorn Bucks.
The Dolphins (28-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Paul's Episcopal was nudged by Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bucks play the Arab Knights (Arab, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Buckhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL).
