The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls edged the host Porter Ridge Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Ragin' Bulls confront the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 8. Hickory Ridge will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 7-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
The Pirates (4-6) will now prepare for their game against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 16-3 record. In their last game, East Mecklenburg nudged Independence (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
