In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Squalicum Storm volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mt. Baker Mountaineers.

The Storm (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Sedro-Woolley lost by Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers meet the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Mt. Baker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Coupeville (Coupeville, WA).
