The Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) soccer nipped the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 1-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Crusaders now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they host St. Rita for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 5. Brother Rice will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Marmion moves to 6-5 on the year. The Cadets host Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to encounter the Wolfpack in a Chicago Catholic challenge on Tuesday, October 8. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a record of 8-6.
