West Virginia High School Soccer - Fairmont Senior knocks off Lincoln

The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Lincoln Cougars to 1 in the Polar Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Polar Bears now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to John Marshall for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Fairmont Senior will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Lincoln moves to 5-9 on the year. The Cougars host South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, October 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-10.
