In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Lindenwold Lions soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Gateway Regional Gators.

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Eagles go into the Colonial outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, West Deptford was edged by Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Gators play the Woodstown Wolverines (Woodstown, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 7. Gateway Regional will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the outing with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ).
