The Watkins Memorial Warriors soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Heath Bulldogs to 2 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.
The Warriors now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Granville for a Licking County bout on Wednesday, October 9. Watkins Memorial will play a Blue Aces squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Blue Aces record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Heath moves to 2-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, October 7. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Marion-Franklin lost 5-0 in their recent league bout against Independence (Columbus, OH)
