In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Hope Christian Huskies.

The Demons (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 9-1 record. In their last outing, La Cueva got by Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Huskies confront the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 5. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 6-5 record after their 8-1 league loss to Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM).
