In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Marshall County Marshals soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Webster County Trojans.
The Marshals (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Eagles enter the District 2 outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Graves County by Calloway County (Murray, KY), 5-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Webster County will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Colonels enter the outing with a 12-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Owensboro (Owensboro, KY).
